Divergent Minds – a name and brand for an employee neurodiversity network
I was a founding and active committee member of Divergent Minds, an employee action group dedicated to raising awareness of neurodiversity across a global workforce of over 100,000 employees including 7,000 in the UK. Sharing my passion and experience in diversity and inclusion, particularly in neurodiversity and inclusive design. I took on the role of Engagement and Marketing Lead, creating a recognisable identity for the group and helping to establish its presence within the organisation.
Our initiatives included developing manager training programmes, organising events with high-profile guest speakers and publishing timely, engaging articles to maximise impact. These efforts resulted in a significant increase in awareness of neurodiversity, the promotion of inclusive workplace practices and strong engagement with our resources and events.
